Dear Readers--We
are saying a fond farewell to our friends in Hideaway, and
moving our stories a little farther north in Missouri, to
the lush hillsides and farm land of the Missouri River Valleys,
where vineyards abound.
Our last novel with the Steeple
Hill Women's Fiction imprint is A Killing Frost, due on the
store shelves in late December or early January. This book
is a stand alone novel, as will be any new novels you see
from Hannah Alexander. Our settings may remain along the Missouri
River for awhile, but then again, they may not. As you saw
with Double Blind, we moved to the Southwest quite easily.
We recently had a great
trip to the wilderness area around Lake Tahoe, and had some
great inspiration as we climbed mountains and traversed ridges,
gazed over mountain lakes and saw our first black bears in
the wild.
We have been asked if our
books will continue to have a medical flavor. Yes, they will.
There will always be medical and romantic plot threads. Our
next novels may have more deepening drama that will appeal
to women's fiction readers, but the future is never set in
stone.
Keep watching for us. You
never know where we'll turn up next.
Blessings from Hannah Alexander
